Ingredients
  

  • 8 large shrimp, peeled and deveined (approximately 4 oz)
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (adjust to taste)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions
 

  • In a mixing bowl, combine minced garlic, olive oil, lemon juice, lemon zest, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper. Stir well to make the marinade.
  • Add the peeled and deveined shrimp to the marinade. Toss the shrimp to coat them evenly. Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to let the flavors infuse.
  • While the shrimp are marinating, preheat your grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.
  • Thread the marinated shrimp onto the grilling skewers, evenly dividing them.
  • Once the grill or grill pan is hot, lightly grease the surface with some olive oil to prevent sticking.
