Ingredients
  

  • 3 large jalapeno peppers
  • 3 tablespoons cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 3 slices of bacon
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Toothpicks

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil for easy cleanup.
  • Wash the jalapeno peppers and cut them in half lengthwise. Remove the seeds and membranes to reduce the heat. Be careful not to touch your face or eyes while handling the jalapenos.
  • In a bowl, mix the softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  • Fill each jalapeno half with the cream cheese mixture.
  • Take a slice of bacon and cut it into three equal pieces. Wrap each jalapeno half with a piece of bacon, securing it with a toothpick.
  • Place the bacon-wrapped jalapeno poppers on the prepared baking sheet.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes or until the bacon is crispy and the jalapenos are tender.
  • Remove from the oven and let them cool slightly before serving.
